my top 5 favourite PlayStation games

Since the first lockdown in the UK started last year, I’ve been gaming a lot on my PS4. The gaming console that I bought a few months earlier so I could play Singstar (still my favourite game), suddenly got a lot more use.

I got to know a few people that I now game with regularly nearly every weekend, but even if they’re not online, I still like to try out new games.

Here is my top 5 favourite games to play on the PlayStation (in no particular order).

Until Dawn

People that know me in real life are probably getting sick of me mentioning this game. But it’s So. Good. The story is amazing, it’s absolutely terrifying, and you get invested enough that you want all your characters to survive – even if some of them are really horrible at the beginning.

Battlefield 5

A multiplayer shooting game that a lot of people will have heard of. This is the one that I started out with. Probably not the best for a beginner, as most people on this game are really good, but I had a good team that helped me through.

What I bought the PlayStation for. Choose a song, turn up the music so you can’t hear your own voice, and sing!

Fall Guys

This fun game is only a few months old, but it’s a lot of fun, especially with friends after you’ve had a few drinks. Try to get to the finish line as the group of contestants gets smaller and smaller with each round, until there’s only one left.

Tomb Raider

There’s quite a few different versions of this one, and they’re all really good! The one I’ve been playing most is the Definitive Edition. You follow Lara Croft surviving on an island.

And a few honorable mentions:

  • Hidden Agenda
  • The Order 1886
  • Just Cause 4
  • Concrete Genie

Do you play videogames? If so, what are your favourites? 🙂
