I already made a list with things I did to prepare for autumn, but now that it’s officially October, there’s a whole bunch of other stuff that I like to do.
Spend the day watching scary movies
Last weekend, I spent the entire day watching all of the Insidious movies on Netflix. I’m usually horrible at watching scary movies on my own, but for some reason, these ones don’t freak me out as much as other ones do! Which is great, because I love a good scary movie. Make some snacks and you’re ready to go.
Create a new playlist
I made a playlist with songs from the 2000s that I’ve been listening to on repeat!
Do a random act of kindness
Do something nice for someone you don’t know. You can do this by giving something away online, baking someone a little treat, by volunteering, or anything else that you can think of!

Read or watch a movie outside
There’s not a lot of drive-in cinemas in England (and most of the ones we do have, closed at the end of September), but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring our laptop outside and watch a movie on there. It just has to stop raining for an hour or two!
Make some homemade soup
Autumn is the perfect time of the year to eat lots of soups. Make your own with whatever veggies you have left in the fridge and enjoy!
Go on a walk/run early in the morning
While it might be really cold, there is something about misty meadows and muddy pathways that just screams autumn. Just make sure to wear rainboots and to dress warm.
I love Autumn, and these are such great ideas and activities to enjoy this Fall. Now I’m going to bake something yummy for a friend. Thanks for the inspiration!
A new playlist works for me! I currently have which I call “Fall Vibes” but I seem to think it’s fall every day because I listen to it all of the time 🙂
My todo list needs some proper order, and it ought to include stuff like exercise and meditation. I think my glass, is always full.
I desperately need to do ALL of these things.
Love these tips! Especially the playlist, we almost have the same taste in music!
I love the outside movie idea. And we just had homemade chili for dinner. It was soooo good. Comfort food at its best.
I like the random act of kindness. its paying forward.. scattering good deeds and happiness all around. =)
