5 things to get ready for autumn

Autumn is not my favourite season (you can’t beat the heat of summer), but it’s a close second. And, as of yesterday, it is officially time for pumpkin spice lattes, oversized jumpers and cosying up under a blanket with a good book.

  1. Listen to Taylor Swift’s Folklore album on repeat
Never been a huge fan of her music, but this album… No words.
  2. Pinterest the hell out of autumnal pictures
  3. Decorate the house
I took all the pumpkins and candles I bought last year out of their hiding place. Then, deciding it wasn’t enough, went on a trip to Homesense and expanded my collection.
  4. Start baking
Anytime I want to bake something, I’ve been going into my garden to pick some fresh apples. Why go to an orchard if you have your very own apple tree?
  5. Find new wardrobe pieces
My wardrobe is severely lacking in clothes that I can wear during autumn so I went on Depop and found a few really nice second-hand (more sustainable!) pieces that I can’t wait to start wearing.

Definitely true! For some reason, most of my baking just happens during autumn and before Christmas! 🙂
