My goals and resolutions for 2020

No intro, just a list of everything I hope to achieve this year.

Career goals

  • Focus on growing this blog more
  • Add different streams of income
Last year, I did a course to become an English teacher. Haven’t done anything with that diploma, but it would be a great addition to my freelance business.
  • Learn more about photography
Could also be seen as a personal goal, because it’s more of a hobby than anything else. Put it under career because it’s going to be really useful for my blog – which I do actually want to start making some money with (will be happy if it’s just a pound per month!)
  • Start using Instagram
Ties into growing the blog and learning photography

Personal goals

  • Buy less coffee and make it at home instead
Didn’t have a great start to the year with this one but am working on it.
  • Reduce waste
  • Keep eating healthy and cooking meals at home
  • Keep going to the gym
Without any random week-long breaks like I have been doing over the past four months.
  • Start doing yoga again
Used to love doing this but with life getting busier, I stopped. Even if I start doing only five minutes of stretching a day, I’ll be so happy!
  • Read 30 books
A lot less than previous years, but I don’t want to put any pressure on myself to read, because I love it and don’t want to make it something I HAVE to do
  • Get savings up to Β£15000
  • Travel as much as I can

  • Be with people
  • Be more present
  • Stop panicking about things you can’t change

Great to know of your goals for the year. I wish you all the best that you be able to achieve all of them. My primary goal for the year is to stay healthy. If I am able to do that, everything else will be good too.

I’m not short on time but do like coffee at the coffee shop better than what I make at home!

Good luck on your goals. I love writing down goals too… more than resolutions, their more attainable tasks you can check back at the end of the year.

Happy New Year and I hope you come out victorious!!!

So tough! Already failed with that one – but I’m going to keep working on it πŸ™‚

I really like the approach you’ve taken to your goals, disaggregating the professional from the personal and allowing yourself to grow in both arenas in a holistic and reflective manner. Lovely share! My best for a meaningful 2020!
