When it’s sunny, I love to go out for a walk in the forest during autumn. But what to do on those rainy days where you don’t want to leave the house because you’d get soaking wet? Here are five things to do on a rainy day (that don’t involve playing with your host kids!).
- Clear out your closet
Take a look at all the stuff that’s in there that you no longer use or wear and get rid of them.
- Make life plans
Take the time to clearly write out your current life goals, whether they’re for career, family, health or even just small projects you want to work on. Define what you want to get done!
- Bake something
Cookies, cake, flapjacks… Whatever you want.
- Build a fort
This one is also great to do with kids, but you can definitely do this in your room. Build a fort, fill it with blankets and cushions and hide away in it with your laptop and some good films, tv-shows or books.
- Organise your own film festival
You can watch old movies such as Breakfast Club and Mean Girls (not quite as old), go for a Disney marathon or just watch all the scary movies you can think of. To make it even more fun, you can watch them in your fort!
What do you like to do on a rainy day where you have to stay inside?
