I love binging tv shows. Often, I rewatch my favourites but I also watch new releases. If they sound interesting. Here’s a list of old favourites and new tv shows to watch during autumn.
American Horror Story
I’ve been watching this ever since the first season came out. And while they did have a couple of seasons that weren’t that great, I’m still watching and loving this show. Every season is a new story, but they are all interlinked. Somehow. Still waiting to see exactly how.
An old favourite. I used to watch this one with my mum. This autumn, I’m probably just going to rewatch the Year in the Life revival.
When it first came out, I was a bit sceptical about the hype. But I totally get it now. This show is fantastic and I was absolutely gutted when I found out that the third season doesn’t come out until 2019.
Another old one. Started watching this again a couple of weeks ago and went through two seasons in one weekend. It’s been a while since I binged this one (last time was maybe ten years ago?). It’s funny to notice that I now relate to the characters in a completely different way from when I was younger.
I’m somewhere in season nine. Used to watch this as a teenager and then stopped. Started over with season 1 and periodically binge a season. Anything fantasy/demon-related is perfect to watch during autumn.
And some new series that I definitely want to see:
- The Haunting of Hill House
Comes out on October 12th on Netflix, starring Michiel Huisman, a fellow Dutchman.
Comes out on October 14th. I used to love Charmed when I was a kid. Hated the trailer for this new version but I’m still going to try it.
- Les Misérables
A BBC adaptation of the book by Victor Hugo. Haven’t read the book or seen the movie but BBC adaptations are always really good so will be watching this.
- Outlander season 4
Premieres on 4 November. I’m still one book ahead of the tv show, and I cannot wait to see the latest adventures of Jamie and Claire on screen.
